All Levels of Play
The Annapolis Youth Lacrosse Association was created in 1992 for the purpose of forming a centralized youth Lacrosse organization in the Annapolis area. Focused on providing youth with the opportunity to compete at all levels of play, the organization has grown to be very successful. The AYLA Guidelines of Participation summarize the organization expectations, and exemplify the standards set forth by the initial AYLA Board of Directors.

Spring 2012: AYLA Ages & Programs
Scoopers
- Season begins on April 13 and concludes on June 1.
- FRIDAY NIGHTS 5:30PM to 6:30PM @ Annapolis Middle School.
- Equipment Handout: Loaned Equipment will be distributed to REGISTERED individuals ONLY @ Extra Space Storage at 2023 Renard Place Annapolis, MD 21401 on February 4 from 2:30 - 5:30pm.
Note on loaned equipment: AYLA is proud to be able to loan our younger players this equipment, but due to limited supply it is on a 'first come, first served' basis.
Age Range Levels for 2012
- Juniors - Boys born 9/1/96 to 8/31/98
- Midgets - Boys born 9/1/98 to 8/31/00
- PeeWee - Boys born 9/1/00 to 8/31/02
- Clinic - Boys born 9/1/02 to 8/31/04
- Scoopers - Boys born 9/1/04 to 8/31/06
Tryout & Evaluation Information for 2012
- Please - always strive to arrive early, dressed and ready to play.
- Please dress for the weather - remember you can always take things off.
- Bring a water bottle/drink

Day 3 - Feb 26, 2012 from 12:00 - 1:00 - Chesapeake Bayhawk Clinic - at Anne Arundel Community College. Free to all registered players.
Remaining Midget Tryouts
Day 4 - Feb 26, 2012 from 12:00 - 1:00 - Chesapeake Bayhawk Clinic at the Anne Arundel Community College. Free to all registered players.
Day 4 - Feb 26, 2012 from 1:00 - 3:00 at Anne Arundel Community College
PeeWee Evaluation
Day 1 - February 25 from 10 - 12 on the turf field at Anne Arundel Community College
Day 2 - February 26 from 12 - 1:30 At Annapolis High School
Immediately following tryout #2 this tryout, the Chesapeake Bayhawks will be conducting a lacrosse clinic for the AYLA Pee Wee and Clinic Players from 1:45 - 2:45 at Annapolis High School. There is no charge to participate in this clinic.
Clinic Evaluation
Clinic lacrosse evaluation will be held on 2/26/11 from 3 - 5 At Annapolis High School.
Immediately preceding this evaluation, the Chesapeake Bayhawks will be conducting a lacrosse clinic for the AYLA Pee Wee and Clinic Players from 1:45 - 2:45 at Annapolis High School. There is no charge to participate in this clinic.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the Bayhawks clinic early to sign in and receive your practice penny.
